Right before the pandemic hit, my husband and I moved to the Sierra Foothills to chase my wellness retreat aspirations—and ended up spending four glorious years living in a trailer on an organic farm. Building their photo library changed my life and helped lead us to Southwest Michigan, where farms, vineyards, and farm-to-table culture reflect that same lifestyle. There's nothing I love more than telling the stories of small businesses in nature and community, right here in the Midwest!
