For more than 25 years, photography has been the foundation of my creative life.

My camera has taken me into extraordinary places and introduced me to remarkable people—from intimate wedding celebrations and university campuses to wellness retreats, cannabis cultivators, and creative businesses.

What continues to inspire me isn't simply creating beautiful photographs. It's witnessing the relationship between people and place, observing the details others might overlook, and finding the common threads that remind us we belong to something larger than ourselves.

I studied Fine Arts at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago before beginning a career in advertising, eventually making my way to California, where I built a photography business that allowed me to travel, collaborate, and tell stories for clients across the country. My work has been published in Martha Stewart Weddings, Style Me Pretty, Green Wedding Shoes, The San Francisco Chronicle, Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Magazine, The Knot, and numerous other publications. It has been recognized by Style Me Pretty's Little Black Book, Here Comes the Guide, WeddingWire, and The Knot's Best of Weddings.

Over time, my own path expanded beyond photography. A personal experience opened the door to a deeper exploration of creativity, practical wellness, and the ways we reconnect with ourselves through nature, curiosity, and shared experience. Rather than leaving photography behind, that journey gave it new meaning.

Today, photography remains the foundation of my work, while writing, thoughtful curation, and creative exploration continue to grow alongside it.

The Common Soul Project is the home for those ideas—a space where essays, photography, and storytelling explore the connections between creativity, nature, and our shared humanity. It reflects my belief that meaningful wellness doesn't have to feel exclusive or intimidating. Sometimes it begins with simply slowing down, paying attention, and recognizing ourselves in one another's stories.

Looking ahead, The Healing Farm represents the next expression of that vision—a place where photography, creativity, wellness, and community can come together in a way that feels warm and approachable.
