Sam and Joe are getting married at the end of September and we had a terrific time getting to know each other better and shooting their engagement session! So looking forward to their wedding!
Shawnti and Andrew E-Session
Shawnti and Andrew's wedding is coming up in a week!!! We were really hoping for some GGB shots, but there's nothing you can do about the SF fog. However, we got some terrific shots at the People's Pier!
I Loooooved Shawnti's shoes! Gorgeous!
Jodi and Shane E-Session!
What do you do when it turns dark and stormy during the engagement shoot? Use it to your advantage! Jodi loved the shoots I did for Deborah and Kwong and Gena and Ryan, so we went to the same locations and got a different look! We had a blast on this shoot and I'll look forward to their July wedding at Kohl Mansion!
Loooooved Jodi's boots!
Gena and Ryan E-Session
Speaking of good sports and fun on an engagement shoot, it ended up pouring on the day of Gena and Ryan's e-shoot. Luckily we were scheduled to shoot in Northbeach and they didn't mind ducking in to a cafe for some drinks and fun shooting inside while we waited for the rain to calm down a bit!
Joanna and Padraic E-Session
Deborah and Kwong
'Tis the season for portrait and engagement sessions! I had a terrific time photographing Deborah and Kwong in preparation for their wedding! Although it's the slow season for weddings and I'm having a blast doing all these portrait sessions, I'm looking forward to three weekends in a row for weddings! Yippee!
Holly and Gilbert E-session
This e-session was bittersweet (well, sort of literally). Holly and Gilbert wanted to choose a location that had meaning for them. They ended up choosing Scharffenberger Chocolate factory in Berkeley, not only because they love their chocolate, but also because Hershey's is closing down the Scharffenberger Factory in April. So sad! We had a lot of fun shooting here even though there ended up being loads of restrictions and it was a very gloomy and rainy day. I think we got some fun stuff and here are just a few of my faves:

Christine and Alex's Vintage E-Shoot!
Christine and Alex told me they wanted to dress up in 20's/30's vintage clothing for their engagement shoot and after much thought about the right location, I think the SF city hall ended up to be the perfect choice! What fun!
Sarah and Matt’s Engagement Session (Stay Tuned for Their 7/7/07 Wedding!)
Although I love shooting engagement sessions at all those wonderful San Francisco Landmarks, I do encourage people to choose a location that is special to them or has a fun atmosphere. Sarah and Matt chose a quirky little town on the Sacramento River for their engagement session. They discovered this little gem and have returned several times to enjoy the sunshine and the zany locals. We persuaded the innkeeper to allow us into the run-down inn (a former brothel) to add some interest to our shoot:
