Healdsburg Country Gardens - Melissa and John!
As always, it was a great pleasure to photograph at Healdsburg Country Gardens in Sonoma. I thought this late-summer BBQ inspired wedding was adorable! Loved the checked table cloths and the cherry held escort cards. The BBQ was great too!Location: Healdsburg Country Gardens - Sonoma CountyFlorist: Erin Rose Floral DesignCatering: BB& Smokehouse Restaurant and Catering

Headlands Center for the Arts - Kelly and Eddie!
Oh such fun photographing this wedding! Kelly and Eddie are both architects and very creative. They also were striving for a "green" wedding, so much so that they GREW THEIR OWN FLOWERS! Julia of Bloomies was the right local florist who agreed to go into their garden the day before the wedding to cut the flowers. Obviously she had to supplement with some flowers, but she managed to harvest a great amount for the wedding. Kelly and Eddie also contributed their own creativity by creating the terrariums that added to the floral centerpieces for each table at the Headlands Center for the Arts "mess hall". Sadie of One Big Fish Green Events managed to coordinate all of these creative pieces for a perfect, colorful and relaxed green wedding in one of my favorite locations. Katie Power's catering staff also did a wonderful job, as always, with the food. Thanks, Kelly and Eddie for a gorgeous wedding to photograph!
Beaulieu Gardens Napa Valley - Alison and Andrew!
It's been a while since I've shot a wedding at the gorgeous Beaulieu Gardens. It's such a spectacular place to shoot and this time didn't disappoint! Paula LeDuc Fine Catering did an absolutely phenomenal job and I took no less than FIVE shots of the beautiful salad set in an edible woven nest. Alison and Andrew were super nice and romantic and the families were Texans through and through. Gracious to no end. This was a destination wedding for these families and they entrusted their vendors to all do a spectacular job without having to put in much input from afar and they ended up with a PERFECT wedding. Location: Beaulieu Gardens, Napa Valley
Catering: Paula LeDuc Fine Catering
Florist: Lavendar Floral
Baker: Katrina Rozelle
Band: Laurent Fourgo
Wildwood Acres - Sarah and Joe!
Like Christine and Bruce, Sarah and Joe only contracted my services for a few hours for their Friday wedding. It was a fresh and lovely garden wedding with accents of blues and whites. I LOVED Joe's palpable emotion when he saw Sarah walking down the aisle and Sarah and Joe had the BEST engagement story I've ever heard. They met at a bus stop in Seattle and neither of them live in Seattle! Location: Wildwood Acres, Lafayette, CA
Sarah said the "S" word by mistake when she was trying to get herself together emotionally to say her vows. Yes, she had on a microphone. Her reaction is below:
The bridal party surprised them with a groom's cake complete with the bus number from their first meeting!
St. Mary's in Moraga - Christine and Bruce
Christine and Bruce contracted my services only for a few hours, so I didn't shoot much (including my 5 minute bridal portrait session ten minutes before the ceremony!), but it was a lovely wedding set in the beautiful little St. Mary's campus chapel. Location: St. Mary's, Moraga, CA
Florist: Granshaw's Flowers
Baker: The French Bakery
I loved the traditional dresses Christine changed into later in the evening!
Rebecca and Matt!
I've always wanted to shoot at V. Sattui Winery in St. Helena and after all these years, I finally had a chance! I was thrilled to photograph a fellow-Chicago area couple's destination wedding in Napa. I moved from Chicago about ten years ago, so it was a lot of fun to chat with Rebecca and Matt about our love of the Chicago area and why they chose to have a wine country destination wedding. They had a gorgeous day and V. Sattui was a great choice. Venue: V. Sattui Winery, St. Helena, Napa Valley
Catering: Alex's Catering
Florist: Valley Flora

Ava and Dave!
I've never shot a wedding at Hamlin Mansion in SF before. What a pretty venue. I always love working with gorgeous architecture and there's something about the light through old windows that is soft and gorgeous. I have to say that the flower girls ALMOST upstaged the bride at this wedding, but it was hard to beat the classic beauty of Ava on her wedding day. Elaine Bell Catering presented some gorgeous and wonderful food and I just loved working with Moira who is the site manager at Hamlin. Beautiful wedding! Getting ready location: Hotel Drisco
Wedding location: The Hamlin Mansion
Catering: Elaine Bell Catering

Cake: Cake Coquette
Gina and Jim!
Gorgeous couple and gorgeous location! This wedding planned by Stephanie Beer of Covenant Coordinating and set at the very new Landcaster Estate venue in Sonoma was gorgeous through and through! How could the bride and her father arriving to the ceremony in a horse-drawn carriage through hilly vineyards be any prettier? The dinner in the wine cave was really wonderful and intimate and wow! That bride! Location: Landcaster Estate
Wedding Coordination: Stephanie Beer of Covenant Coordinating
Catering: Park Avenue Catering
Florist: Maria Philbin
Makeup: It's a Date
Hair: friend from NYC
I have photographed cigar bars, but never a cigar roller. How cool!

Oh how I love Jewish weddings! They are so very festive! Also, I love Healdsburg Country Gardens and I have to say that the caterer and Natalie and Mike hit the nail on the head with the food for this wedding and HCG. I just loved the elegant country family-style feel of the food. It fit in perfectly with the surroundings. It was summer bounty at its best. Location: Healdsburg Country Gardens
